About
We started our fund with a thesis that had nothing to do with deals: what if we launch agentic-first, and let AI run the operational machine from day one? Time stays where it belongs, on people, relationships and the water. Nobody ever found an edge formatting a quarterly report.
Fund OS is what came out of that. It covers the whole fund lifecycle: LP fundraising, sourcing and market watch, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, reporting and impact, legal and compliance, ecosystem, and exit. 42 skills, 18 workflows, and a knowledge layer that holds the fund's own thesis, templates and decisions.
It is built on Claude Skills rather than a custom agent stack. Each skill is a small directory of instructions in git, reviewable like code and portable across Claude Desktop, Claude Code and the Agent SDK. Connectors reach the fund's real systems through MCP, by capability rather than by vendor, so the CRM underneath can change without touching the methodology.
Two rules hold the whole thing together. Fund administration stays sacred: skills read from it and never write, because that platform is the regulated source of truth. And human-in-the-loop is a property of the skill, not a setting: every LP-facing or regulator-facing artefact carries an explicit approval step, and every regulated action writes to an append-only audit trail.
We got there after two failed attempts, an open-source agent with no audit trail and a vendor platform that locked everything inside it. The insight that survived both: your methodology is the asset, not your software. So we made the methodology the product.
What it does
The whole fund lifecycle
From LP fundraising through diligence and monitoring to exit. 42 skills, 8 phases, 18 workflows.
Fund admin stays sacred
Skills read the regulated system of record. They never write to it. Corrections happen there, by a human.
Approval is built in
Every LP-facing or regulator-facing artefact pauses for a signature, and the audit trail records who signed what.
Reviewable like code
Each skill is a versioned text file. A compliance officer reviews a pull request, not a screenshot of a prompt.
Connects by capability
MCP connectors are addressed as CRM, Fund Admin, Drive. Swap the vendor underneath without touching a skill.
Rhythms, not just tools
Workflows run the recurring beats: Monday deal digest, monthly health check, quarterly LP report, capital call.
Who it's for
Small and emerging venture funds, family offices and angel syndicates that want institutional operating depth without an operations team, plus the accelerators and platforms that support them.
